Gourock heron

It was a beautiful day in Inverclyde yesterday.  I went out to get some photographs and came across a heron sitting on some rocks down at Gourock.

    One of my favourite birds. Just back from your neck of the woods. Not keen on the new one way system or the seafront car park layout in new improved Gourock but I suppose I'll get used to it eventually :o)

    I have tried and tried to photograph herons with little success. Like your photos.
