Wonderful Westburn

This is the spire of Westburn Church in Greenock, Scotland. 


The church was built in 1840 and the spire added in 1855.


Westburn Church is still used as a place of worship.  Denomination - Presbyterian, Church of Scotland.

  2. As Genie wrote, it is an impressive structure and «Louis» is happy to read that it is still used as a church in this increasingly secular world.
    Typical of Presbyterian churches of the time: no stained glass. Calvin would not have approved! :-)
